Sign up HERE VIA EVENTBRITE to attend a slash pile burning demonstration approximately 4 miles up Magnolia Road with Ed LeBlanc, Forest Service Fire Management Officer, and Chad Buser, Forest Service Zone Fuels AFMO, to be held during the week of February 20th when weather and conditions best allow. Discussions will include an overview on slash pile burning in general, weather conditions, regulations and requirements, and other relevant treatment topics. The group will light piles and observe first-hand the management of slash pile burning.
